Atlas Meridian provides professional immigration consulting services related to Taiwan residence applications. Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Territory Assessment: Initial consultation and pathway analysis
- Route Documentation Services: Document preparation and application submission assistance
- Complete Expedition Services: Comprehensive immigration support for complex pathways
Specific service deliverables are outlined in individual service agreements. We reserve the right to modify service offerings with reasonable notice to clients.
5. Service Limitations and Disclaimers
It is important to understand the scope and limitations of our services:
5.1 No Outcome Guarantees
We provide professional consulting and document preparation services. However, we cannot provide any promises regarding the approval of immigration applications. Final decisions rest solely with Taiwan immigration authorities. Our role is to assist with preparation and submission, not to determine outcomes.
5.2 Not Legal Representation
Atlas Meridian provides immigration consulting services. We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice or legal representation. If legal counsel is required, we recommend consulting with a qualified immigration attorney.
5.3 Information Accuracy
While we strive to provide current and accurate information about Taiwan immigration procedures, regulations and administrative practices may change. We maintain professional knowledge through ongoing monitoring but cannot assure complete accuracy of all immigration-related information at all times.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients engaging our services agree to the following responsibilities:
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information for all consultation and application purposes
- Submit all requested documents and materials in a timely manner
- Respond promptly to communications from Atlas Meridian or immigration authorities
- Disclose any changes in circumstances that may affect immigration applications
- Review all documents before submission and verify accuracy of information
- Comply with all applicable Taiwan immigration laws and regulations
- Make timely payment for services according to agreed fee schedules
7. Fees and Payment Terms
7.1 Service Fees
Service fees are outlined in individual service agreements. Current pricing is available on our website and subject to change with reasonable notice. Fees are quoted in New Taiwan Dollars (NT$).
7.2 Payment Methods
We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card, or other methods specified in service agreements. Payment terms and schedules are outlined in individual contracts.
7.3 Refund Policy
Refunds are handled according to the following guidelines:
- Territory Assessment: Refundable within seven days if no consultation has occurred
- Route Documentation Services: Refundable before document preparation begins, minus administrative fee
- Complete Expedition Services: Refund terms outlined in individual service agreements
- No refunds for completed work or services already rendered
7.4 Additional Costs
Third-party costs including government application fees, translation services, notarization, and courier charges are not included in our service fees unless explicitly stated. Clients are responsible for these additional expenses.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Atlas Meridian or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to access and use our website for legitimate purposes related to immigration consulting services. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our website content without written permission.
9. Confidentiality
We maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Client information is only shared as necessary for service delivery, with client consent, or as required by law.
Clients agree to maintain confidentiality regarding any proprietary methodologies, internal processes, or business information disclosed during the service relationship.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Atlas Meridian shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services
- Our total liability for any claims related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim
- We are not liable for delays or failures in immigration application processing by Taiwan authorities
- We are not responsible for client-provided information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Force majeure events beyond our reasonable control release us from performance obligations
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Atlas Meridian, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms and Conditions
- Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Inaccurate or fraudulent information you provide
- Your infringement of third-party rights
12. Termination
Either party may terminate the service relationship under the following conditions:
12.1 Client Termination
Clients may terminate services by providing written notice. Refunds, if applicable, will be calculated based on work completed to the termination date.
12.2 Atlas Meridian Termination
We reserve the right to terminate services if clients fail to provide required information, make timely payments, or violate these Terms and Conditions.
12.3 Effects of Termination
Upon termination, clients remain responsible for fees for services rendered. We will return client documents upon request and settlement of outstanding balances.
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Taiwan. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Taipei City, Taiwan.
13.2 Informal Resolution
Before initiating formal legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution through direct communication and negotiation.
14. General Provisions
14.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with any service-specific agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Atlas Meridian regarding our services.
14.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
14.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
14.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under this Agreement without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations with reasonable notice to you.
15. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email to active clients or through a notice on our website. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document indicates when the most recent changes were made.
Continued use of our services after modifications become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
